What We Do
The Jackson Physicians Alliance works to identify and solve health
care delivery issues within the greater Jackson, Michigan area.
The ultimate goal is to improve the health status of the community
residents through development of an efficient, integrated, ambulatory
care delivery system.

The key JPA Services include the following:
- Highlight "best practices" and quality
improvement activities so that all our practices can optimize
their operations.
- Analyze and organize payer claim information
so that practices can better understand patient panel
utilization information.
- Optimize insurance payer contract reimbursement.
- Provide training and development programs
for staff and providers regarding medical and management
issues.
- Share regulatory and industry trend information
so that members remain abreast of current issues facing
the industry.
- Negotiate "upside-only" payer incentive programs
for our members to encourage the attainment of practice
management goals.
- Offer members voluntary, volume
discount packages that leverage the JPA group
size to lower the net cost of vendor services to the membership.
- Coordinate communications among member offices
and identify opportunities to facilitate medical care
operations.
- Communicate new procedural and newsworthy items.
- Regularly survey members to understand
their practice management needs and look
to identify resources to address these needs.
The
JPA organization serves as a communication portal to its
membership. The organization can expedite the implementation
of a new program or dissemination of general information
to the 135+ members.
